Manikin Making Art Workshop
The Manikin Making Workshop is an arts and craft workshop to highlight the importance of representation in society.
The workshop is for all ages, genders and cultural backgrounds to participate.
Each participant will receive a 30cm wooden manikin, emu feathers and possum fur.
Paint and other materials are provided to design a manikin or doll.
The outcome of the workshop is for participants to embrace themselves through the design of their manikin or doll.
Seeing positive representations of ourselves in society boosts self confidence, pride for our individual self as well as pride for our cultural backgrounds.
